Handing You the Most Powerful Tool for Your Toolbox
I can’t tell you enough how glad I am that you have landed on this page!
Discovering and uncovering what ‘Self Love’ is has been my purpose and felt to my core for years.
The concept is simple, the practice takes time to master. What I began to see as I explored the depths and meaning to truly loving yourself was our worthiness to accept we are love and should give and receive it freely. The basis to true Self Love is knowing, valuing and honoring yourself enough to walk away from or saying no to anything that does not make you feel like the blessed wonderful being you are.
Research shows that Self Love improves all aspects of our life. By developing new practices you’ll learn to cultivate the connection with your inner being, which will lead to flourishing and thriving in life and well being. Other benefits include but are not limited to: increasing confidence, improving judgment and problem-solving abilities, helping you focus and perform, decrease depression, lower heart rate and blood pressure, strengthen your immune system, combat stress, lessen your aches and pains, combat dis-ease and disability, lengthen your life, enhance relationships and reduce feelings of anxiety.

Who Are You?
I want you to forget everything you think you know about yourself. I know for sure there are some distorted views. We’re not going to talk about the pure positive energy and love that you are. We are born to be joyful happy and dance in the streets. To know our love and radiate it outwardly into the world. Acknowledging that is who we are, to feel worthy and to feel open to receive love.
You have to know it and live it. Love is everywhere, when you begin to love who you are, you’ll see it in a smile from a stranger the beauty and a flower the cat that comes up and rubs your leg.
Close Your Eyes
Take a deep breath in and I want you to think about how loving yourself feels.
Your heart is an open beating valve and wants to radiate, permeate throughout every cell in your body
Begin to pay attention about how you feel when you witness or are a part of something that is unsettling ~ most likely and we’ve been trained to have a knee jerk reaction to it.
By caring about how you feel on the emotional scale are you happy and joyful or angry and upset or somewhere in between.
I began by saying, we are here to be joyful and happy.
How do we achieve that feeling when things are happening around us that are unsettling?
What if I told you, how you feel is more important than being right?
Do you remember a time when you found so much love from yourself and everyone around you?
That sense of love in an amplified state....go ahead feel that heart beating, smile and don't be afraid to share your love onto the world!
Your Practice
Begin by writing some feeling words that describe and the feeling of love...
💖 14 Days of Self Love 💖
Day 1- Take time for yourself everyday.
If you only have a minute…close your eyes and focus on your breath. Inhale to the count of 3, exhale to the count 5. Just by doing that small thing, you’ve allowed yourself to become present.
Day 2- Journaling. Writing is a powerful way to affirm your intentions.
Day 3- Nourish your body. Eat well, drink lots of water and fresh juices.
Day 4- Be kind and gentle with yourself.
No negative self talk.
Write the numbers 1-50 on a page in your journal.
On the top of the page write the words
"I Am"
Now fill in each number with words that describe you!
Day 5 - Gratitude - Gratitude shifts your attention away from resentment, regret, guilt or anger and giving an affirmation and recognition of goodness.
Everyday write at least 3 things in your journal that you’re grateful for. Did you know you can rewire your brain to be happy by acknowledging 3 things you’re grateful for every morning.
Day 6 - Be of service to others. When loving others and giving yourself freely for the sole intent to give unconditionally your heart expands and allows others to feel love. The love vibration expands, everyone feels it around you and we all benefit.
Day 7- Affirmations Affirmations are used to reprogram the subconscious mind. Affirming what you want to happen into your existence. Evidence-based research shows that affirmations, like prayer, actually change the brain on a cellular level—in other words, what you think about matters—a lot. “Thoughts have a direct connection to your health,” says Dr. Joseph Dispenza, author of Physics, the Brain and Your Reality.
“Thoughts make a chemical. If you have happy thoughts, then you’re producing chemicals that make you feel happy. Negative, angry thoughts and fearful thoughts also produce chemicals to make you feel how you’re thinking.”
Day 8-Go Out Into Nature / unplug to reconnect with yourself 🌊🌲🌸
Healing, happiness, concentration, weight loss, prevention of some illnesses, reduces stress, keep you youthful, boosts immune system just a few of the benefits from being in nature.
Day 9 - Write a “Things That I Love “ list
Simple right? Is it playing music, listening to music, going on a hike, a bike ride, walking on the beach (there’s that nature tip again) reading, playing with kids.
Now that you have your list, you can refer back to it during those times you’re feeling anxious or needing a break.
Day 10- Move your body! Put those endorphins to work! Endorphins are chemicals produced naturally by the nervous system to cope with pain or stress. They are often called "feel-good" chemicals because they can act as a pain reliever and happiness booster.
Other ways to increase endorphins besides exercise, is giving (#6 in our list) yoga and meditation (#11 & 12 on our list), dark chocolate (small amounts) and laughing!
Day 11- Yoga - Yoga as a practice is an invitation to connect with yourself. To not only feel yourself physically but to connect emotionally and spiritually. Moving slowly into the pose, guided by the flow of your breath.
Day 12- Meditation- set a timer on your phone for 15 minutes. Sit or lie down comfortably. Gently close your eyes and begin to focus on your breath. Breathe in to the count to five, breathe out to the count to five. Once you have brought your awareness to the present, now you allow rest your brain and not think of anything.
~~Let me know if you want me to expand on how to meditate. ~~
Some Benefits: reduces stress and anxiety, promotes emotional health, enhances self-awareness, improves attention and concentration, improves sleep, rejuvenates and inspires!
Day 13- Practice forgiveness. Forgive yourself you can’t change the things you have done in the past we can only focus on the future.
Let go of past trauma and wounds. When we let go of things that have happened to us we no longer carry the burdens.
Day 14- Acceptance. Give yourself permission to be okay with where you’re at. It is OK to not have a good day.
Accept it for what it is, was, a learning experience. The contrast in life isn’t meant to weigh us down, it’s meant to inspire us for a better future!
Mastering self-love is a daily practice and now I’m here for the purpose to help you move past pain or blocks that are holding you back from moving forward to your happily ever after!
